Q. What is Intern Hero?
A. In these tough economic times, more and more companies are relying on interns to get the job done. The hours are long, the rewards are few, the pay is meager. The interns of America deserve more. They deserve to be heroes.
This summer, Little Debbie is giving out 200 large sampler boxes of Little Debbie Breakfast Items to currently employed interns in the United States. All you have to do is send us a photo of you holding a sign asking for breakfast. Check out the details here. If you win, we’ll post the photo on our blog and send the items to your office.
Then all you have to do is sit back and enjoy being regaled by coworkers as an Intern Hero.
Q. What’s in the Intern Hero prize pack?
A. Five boxes of Little Debbie breakfast Items. You’ll get one full box of five current varieties.
Q. How many times can I enter?
A. Once every three business days.
Q. Can I win multiple times?
A. Nope. Just once.
Q. Can multiple interns in one office win?
A. Yes, multiple interns can appear in the same submission, but they’ll have to share the winnings from one prize pack.
Multiple interns in different offices of the same company can also win separately. (Ie, if an intern in the Denver office of Initech wins, that doesn’t preclude an intern in the Boulder office from winning). The only requirement is that the locations have to be at different mailing addresses.
Q. Will you send the breakfast items to my house?
A. No, only to your place of business. They’re for you to share with coworkers!
Q. How do you pick your 5-10 winners each weekday?
A. First we weed out any entries that did not comply with the entry guidelines and the Photo and Content Submission Agreement. Then our panel of photography judges picks the 5-10 most creative and topical entries as that day’s winning set.
If your entry meets all the criteria but doesn’t win on a certain day, it will “roll over” two more days and might stand a chance at winning. But after three days, you’ll need to re-enter.
Q. Will I hear back from you after I enter?
A. Only if you win.
Q. Does my employer need to know about my submission?
A. Probably so. They’ll probably appreciate your initiative and the free publicity, but best to be sure in advance.
